Hi, I'm Omar.
I design AI products and the systems behind them.

Lead Product Designer — currently at uDocz, an edtech serving 4 million students a month across 20 countries. I work from spec to production: B2B, B2C, design systems and prototyping in code, on the real repositories.

Work — 5 case studies

01 UDS — uDocz Design System -> The system the whole suite shares: two-layer tokens, 76 components, formal versioning and a WCAG 2.2 AA floor. I design it, document it and govern it. DESIGN SYSTEM · CONSUMED BY 4 PRODUCTS · WCAG 2.2 AA 02 Institutions Dashboard -> The B2B panel for universities: academic reporting, students at risk, notifications and AI tutor customization. Designed from scratch for four roles. B2B · ANALYTICS · DESIGNED FROM SCRATCH 03 Teacher Suite -> Eight AI tools for teachers, living inside the LMS. A full redesign: from a menu of cards to a dashboard with AI as the backbone. AI · EMBEDDED IN THE LMS · REDESIGN 04 uDocz for students -> The B2C study experience: reader, search, flashcards, practice and review — plus a free tier that converts, with paywall, points and checkout. B2C · AI-POWERED STUDY · CONVERSION 05 Eligiendo Mi Camino -> A World Bank program with Lima's education authority, in 110 public schools. I turned the initial specs and concept into two AI tools running in real classrooms. PUBLIC SECTOR · WORLD BANK · 6,600 STUDENTS

How I work

STEP 01

I land the requirement

What comes from the business is rarely a well-posed problem. My first job is turning it into one.

STEP 02

I design the system, not the screen

Before drawing, I define the rules: what each user profile can do, on which surface, within which limits.

STEP 03

I prototype in code

HTML, CSS and JS with Claude Code and MCPs. Navigable, responsive-verified and deployable — not an image.

STEP 04

I document and hand off

Every decision gets written down, including the discarded ones. Handoff isn't a document: it's an executable artifact.
